Richard J. Power / Managing Attorney
Mr. Power has been in law practice for over 40 years, focusing on financial and tax matters, business planning and management, financial analysis, and asset management. He has been legal counsel to dozens of companies — large and small, start-up and well-established — and their business owners, and takes pride that most of the clients of PowerLaw, PLLC have been with the Firm for decades.
In 2003, Mr. Power founded InnOvation Capital & Management, LLC, as an adjunct to the law practice, to provide consulting, administration, accounting, economic analysis, and venture capital capabilities which are outside the traditional practice of law.
Before founding PowerLaw in 1981, Mr. Power was an attorney at the National Office of the Internal Revenue Service. He had earned degrees at the College of Communication at Boston University and New England Law, and also studied at the Washington College of Law at American University.
